"Even before I entered the field of medicine, it was my personal mission to make a difference in people's lives. Over the years, I have had the opportunity to work in a homeless shelter, as well as spend time in Africa providing humanitarian aid.
As I progressed through my medical education, I became aware of just how crucial sleep is to a person's physical and mental well-being. That is why I chose to pursue this profession. Being in sleep medicine gives me an opportunity to make a deep and positive impact in people’s lives." — Dr. Richard L. Cho
